STARFISH Bioscience awarded the Deeptech Prize at the 2024 CIC Start Innovation Business Awards
On November 8, 2024, STARFISH Bioscience received the Deeptech Prize at the CIC Start Innovation Business Awards in Bordeaux. A wonderful recognition of our innovative approach dedicated to regenerating agricultural soils.
The event, held at the Bordeaux Museum of Contemporary Art (CAPC), highlighted the region’s most promising initiatives. Among 16 finalists, STARFISH Bioscience stood out thanks to its next-generation biosolutions, based on the identification and amplification of natural ‘keystone’ bacteria. These microorganisms play an essential role in maintaining the balance of the soil microbiome — a strategic lever for sustainable and high-performing agriculture.
This award, accompanied by financial support, strengthens our innovation momentum and supports our development. It also opens the doors to the VivaTech trade show in Paris in June 2025, where STARFISH Bioscience will participate in the national final of the CIC Start Innovation Business Awards, alongside the winners from other regions.
